We are excited to see you at the April 17th Membership Meeting at Independence Center in the Morris/Nelson/Penn rooms. Special Guests will be NOW, National Organization of Women and Nevadans for Reproductive Rights. If you have not already done so, you may sign the petition for enshrining Repro Rights into our State Constitution 2024 Ballot Initiative. Doors open at 5:30.
Great news!! With much support from the SCA Activities Department, we will have 30 extra chairs! We appreciate much input from members over the last few weeks and are hoping that these extra chairs will make the difference. Please invite others to sit at "your" table, sometimes using a 5th or 6th chair. Please be welcoming so everyone can find a place. Saving seats is very discouraged. Let’s behave like the "big tent" Democratic Party we are fighting for. This will only work with your cooperation.
If you are not able to stand in line please let the ushers know. We are all seniors and standing is not the easiest, but if you actually need to sit, have a cane or a walker, you will be invited to come in early. Please don’t take advantage of this offer.
The menu will be announced soon. Please bring desserts to share and BYOB!
Let’s make 30 extra chairs work! We have too much to do saving democracy and want to welcome as many members as possible!!
